Mary Callanan and Brian Patton have been performing together for the past twenty years. (Their third grade cabaret show, "A Tribute to Steve and Eydie" is STILL being talked about!). One of the keys to Mary & Brian's success is that they really are having as much fun as it seems, whether they're performing on stage, in the studio or working together on arrangements.
They’ve opened for Steve
Tyrell and worked with all of Boston’s best cabaret artists.
They have a number of self-contained shows, most notably "Burt &
Carole & Brian & Mary - the Music of Burt Bacharach and Carole
King" and "Hey There - A Tribute to Rosemary Clooney". They
perform all the favorites from the Great American Songbook, plus
Sinatra, the Carpenters, Dusty & Manilow. One of their most
valuable strengths is their adaptability. They perform pretty
much everything but Iron Maiden – not that there’s anything
wrong with that!
Their debut CD, "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" is a homage to the freewheeling feeling we all experience while on vacation. It's been inspired by Mary & Brian's recent summers spent performing in the resort town of Provincetown, MA... a magical place where many times reality drifts away with the tide!
